Anna Louise Mink went home to the Lord on March 11, 2026.
Born July 31, 1936, in Gallia County (Gallipolis, Ohio), Anna lived a life defined by deep devotion to family, hard work, and a beautiful zest for life. Throughout her years, she was known for her warmth, resilience, and the unconditional love she gave to those around her.
Anna built a remarkable life alongside her beloved late husband, James Mink. Together they shared not only a strong marriage but also a lasting partnership in business, working side by side to create a legacy that would serve their community for decades.
In 1959, Anna helped establish Jim Mink Auto Sales, a business that grew through dedication, honesty, and integrity. Their entrepreneurial spirit continued with the founding of Jim Mink Chevrolet Olds in 1983, and later Eastern Auto Sales in 2002, where Anna served as Vice President. Through these ventures, she played an essential role in building businesses that became well known and respected throughout the region.
While she was proud of what she accomplished in business, Anna’s greatest joy and proudest role was being the heart of her family. Anna is survived by her daughters: Cheryl Caudill of Gallipolis, Ohio; Jamey Eachus of Columbus, Ohio; and Teresa Mink Salcedo of Miami, Florida. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Craig Kingery, Kenneth Caudill, Colby Caudill, Eric Harrison, and Ana Sophia Salcedo; her great-grandchildren: Julian Kingery, Ethan Kingery, Clark Caudill, and Cameron Caudill; and her sister, Mary Evans.
Anna was preceded in death by her husband James L “Jim” Mink on January 3rd, 2019, whom she married December 10th, 1955.
Anna’s story is not only one of business success, but of a woman who dedicated her life to her family and the people she loved most. The legacy she built through her family, her work, and the countless memories shared with those closest to her will continue for generations.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Saturday, March 14, 2026, in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, with Pastor Bob Hood officiating. Burial will follow in Rife Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday one hour prior to services. The McCoy-Moore Funeral Home is honored to serve the Mink Family.
Anna's obituary was lovingly written by her grandson Eric Harrison.
