Charles “Chuck” C. Simmons, 90, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away Saturday, February 28, 2026, in Holzer Assisted Living Facility, Gallipolis, Ohio. Chuck was born October 13, 1935, in Dayton, Ohio, son of the late Carroll and Caroline (Bechtolt) Simmons. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Rio Grande, Ohio.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Anita (Hudkins) Holley Simmons and daughter, Debra Rosanna Simmons, both of Gallipolis, Ohio as well as a sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Simmons, of Floria.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his wife and mother of his children, Rosanna Irene Simmons on May 12, 2014, daughter, Diana Louise Simmons and brother, John Simmons.
Graveside services will be conducted Friday, March 6, 2026 at 12:00 PM in the Gravel Hill Cemetery, Cheshire, Ohio, with Pastor Vinton Rankin officiating. The McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, is honored to serve the Simmons Family.
