Anna Tabb Murphy passed peacefully at home June 26, 2024 after a brief illness.
She was born in Norfolk, VA to the late David and Una Murphy. She was also predeceased by her brother, David Murphy, Jr. She graduated from Norfolk Catholic High School and worked in the financial/banking industry her whole career.
She is survived by her two sons, William C Phelps (Trey) and Ryan D. Phelps; and their father, Bill Phelps; as well as her nephew, Sean Murphy; her brother, Kevin Murphy; and her sister, Kathleen Murphy.
A visitation will be held at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel from 5 – 7pm on July 2, 2024. A graveside service at Forest lawn Cemetery July 3, 2024 at 11am.

Anna is an NCHS classmate. She was always sweet, always kind, always friendly. I wish I could be in Norfolk to say goodbye in person instead I am so sorry for her passing and send the family condolences from Texas.

My first memory is St. Patrick´s Day parade 1981 March that´s the first time I met you and you were sweet then and loved you always. God bless you and your family.
