Mrs. Anna Elizabeth Ringer Norvell.
December 5, 1930 - October 11, 2025
Mrs. Anna Norvell "Nana" age 94, went to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on October 11, 2025 at Manor Lake Assisted Living and Memory Care in Hiram, Georgia.
Anna was born in Pomaria, South Carolina on December 5, 1930, to loving parents, the late Jason and Eva Ringer. She was married to the love of her life, Glenn D. Norvell for 54 wonderful years before his passing. Together they shared 4 children, 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, whom she loved dearly. She worked as a bookkeeper for Woolworth Company for over 30 years. She was a faithful member of Smyrna Presbyterian Church; she was dedicated to this church and its members for many years. Anna loved tending her flowers and being with animals. She was very well loved by her family, and all that knew her and will always be remembered by her radiant smile and extraordinary personality.
Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn and daughter, Anna Marie Norvell.
She is survived by her children, son Glenn (Gaye) Norvell of Powder Springs, GA and daughters, Rynn (Ed) Chapman of Hiram, GA and Laura (Terry) Hixon of Douglasville, GA. In addition, she is also survived by six grandchildren, Scott (Jessica) Chapman, Brandon Hixon, Amanda (Wade) Marcy, Cody (Jess) Hixon, Bradley Norvell, Lindsey Norvell and her five great-grands Jack Hixon, Miller and Madeline Chapman, Mason and Charlotte Marcy.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, from 1:30-3pm at Northstar Chapel (3413 Blue Springs Road, Kennesaw GA) followed by funeral services at 3:00 pm with Rev. Joel Smit officiating.
Interment burial will follow on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at Marietta National Cemetery, Marietta GA with immediate family, Rev. Danny Myers officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to Smyrna Presbyterian Church renovation/expansion project c/o Window Campaign (3130 Atlanta Rd, Smyrna GA) in memory of Anna.
