Anna Jewel Papageorge

Anna Jewel Papageorge, a longtime resident of Green Oaks, passed away on September 29, 2025, at the age of 89. Anna moved with the love of her life Michael to raise their family in Green Oaks. She is remembered for the sweet legacy she left in her kitchen. Whether baking delicious sweets or nurturing her garden, Anna had a talented hand. She also had a keen eye for beauty, which she expressed through her passion for crafting. Fiercely independent and determined, she lived the later part of her life fully on her own terms. May she now rest in peace.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 70 years, Michael; her children, John and Steve (Marsha); her grandchildren, Christopher and Claire; her sister Connie, along with many nieces and nephews. She preceded in death by her parents and her siblings Joanne, and Billy.
