Anna Marie Pastrano

Anna Marie Pastrano, 53 years of age, was called home on Easter Sunday, March 31, 2024 at her residence with her loving family at her bedside. She was born in Alice, Texas on September 5, 1970 to her parents, Antonio and Rosa Garcia. Anna Marie was a 1989 graduate of Alice High School and attended CBC where she pursued her degree in Phlebotomy. She enjoyed spending time doing yardwork, taking care of her grandson, enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt who will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her Angel baby; her grandparents, Antonio Y. and Evlalia M. Garcia.
Anna Marie is survived by her husband of 30 years of marriage, Dwayne Pastrano of San Diego, Texas; her son, Tyler (Gabby) Pastrano of San Diego, Texas; her daughter, Bailey (Doroteo Jr.) Ramirez of San Diego, Texas; her in-laws, Joe and Carrie Pastrano; her parents, Antonio and Rosa Garcia; brother, Orlando (Janice) Garcia; three sisters, Pricilla (Arnold) Garcia, Sandra (Andres) Platas, Corina (Javier) Torres; grandchildren, Laiden Tyler Pastrano, Jaiden Valerio, Doroteo Ramirez III, Leyah Trevino; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at Garza Funeral Home in San Diego, Texas with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. that evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at St. Francis De Paula Catholic Church in San Diego, Texas. Interment will follow at San Diego Cemetery II in San Diego, Texas.
