Anna Prahl Obituary

In 1953 she met and married Carmine De Micco. They were together for twenty-eight years, and together raised four children. Anna later married Dr. Joseph Fontana in 1983. Among their adventures together, Anna and Joseph traveled with Rotary International to the Amazon, where she assisted him in doing volunteer dental work in the villages. In 1986, Anna had the honor to receive Rotary's Paul Harris Fellow Award in recognition of her fundraising leadership in support of Rotary's charitable activities. Anna was also a founding member of the Inner Wheel of Westchester, a partner organization with Rotary in supporting charitable causes and other projects. Joseph predeceased her in 1989.
Anna was blessed to be married again in 1995 to Roger H. Prahl, with whom she continued to support and volunteer with the Peekskill Rotary Club. Roger predeceased her in 2015.
Anna's memory is cherished by four children, Michael (Carol) DeMicco, Carla (Michael) Angelo, Paul (Elizabeth) DeMicco, and Thomas DeMicco; her beloved grandchildren James (Jenna) Angelo, Matthew (Jordan) Angelo, Jessica (Sean) Campbell, Joseph DeMicco, Daniel (Serena) DeMicco; and her great-granddaughter Kai DeMicco. Anna is also survived by her brother, Dominick Lagalante.
