Anna M. Reedy

Anna Reedy (nee Tomaso), age 93 passed away peacefully on February 1, 2024. She was a life-long resident of Villa Park and most recently resided in Glen Ellyn. Anna married (the late) Robert in 1954 and they were inseparable for nearly 65 years. They were blessed with 5 children: Julie (the late Steven) Glaser, Thomas (Melissa) Reedy, David (Susan) Reedy, Mary (James) Santucci, and the late John Reedy. They raised their 5 children in Villa Park and were dedicated members of St. Alexander's Parish. Anna was blessed with the love of 14 grandchildren: Michael (Katie), Megan (Mark), Bobby (Emily), Kelly, Patrick, Brian, Samantha, William, Caitlin, Kayla, Sean, Emma, Catherine and Caroline. Recently she was gifted with 3 great grandchildren: Charlie, Caroline and Vivian.
Anna will be remembered for her outgoing, vivacious personality. She had an uncanny ability of being able to effortlessly engage and interact with anyone she met, whether it be a total stranger or someone she knew for years. Family dinners were a staple in her home, especially on Sundays where the table was full and the food was flowing. She could always be counted on to bring levity to the most chaotic of situations. There was no one quite like "Annie" and she will be missed by all.
Morning Visitation Tuesday, February 13th, 9:30am until time of funeral Mass at 11:00am at St. Alexander Catholic Church, 300 S. Cornell, Villa Park, IL 60181. Interment Assumption Catholic Cemetery. Memorials to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and Misericordia Home are appreciated.
