Earl Bieze Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Steuerle Chapel - Villa Park on Feb. 3, 2026.
Earl Wallace Bieze Sr. of Villa Park, Illinois, a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2026, at the age of 83.

Born on June 27, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois. Earl lived a life defined by service to his family, friends, and country. Earl spent most of his life working as a carpenter. His hands touched many buildings and homes throughout the Chicagoland area. In his free time, he loved to explore the open road - often traveling by station wagon, camper van, and motorcycle. Throughout his life, he visited Canada, Mexico, Germany, and every state except for Hawaii.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jovita aka Jo Bieze (nee Rodriguez) and his two sons, Earl Bieze Jr. and Wallace (Karyl Kerndl) Bieze with their son Stephen Kerndl and his daughter Rena Kerndl. Papa to his beloved granddaughter, Dr. Ashley (Blake) Wilson, and her family, including Beth Bieze & Ruth Asmussen. He is also survived by many dear sisters-in-law, his favorite brother-in-law Artie, and many nieces, nephews, dear friends, and friends of Bill W. He was preceded in death by his parents Grace, (nee Estep) and Wallace Earl Bieze.

Though our hearts are heavy, we are grateful for the life he lived and the time we had to share with him. His legacy will continue through the family he cherished and the many lives he touched.

Visitation Thursday, February 5, 2026, from 3:00 PM- until time of Funeral Service at 7:00 PM, at Steuerle Chapel, 15 W Park Blvd, Villa Park, IL 60181. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Funeral info: steuerlefh.com or (630) 832-4161.
