Anna K. Rees, age 93, of Manitowoc, passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at Rocky Knoll Health Center in Plymouth.
Anna was born on January 12, 1932 to the late Hedomir and Mary (Menzezoff) Miller. She was a graduate of Rahway High School in Rahway, NJ. She then went on to earn a certificate from Drake Business School in Elizabeth, NJ. On July 26, 1958 she married Robert Rees. He preceded her in death on May 18, 1977. Over the years Anna worked as a secretary director in the department of biochemistry and retired as a secretary for Carter Wallace Inc. Anna was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. She enjoyed bowling, tennis, golf, sewing, knitting, needle work, crossword puzzles, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Anna is survived by her children: William (Clayton Logue) Rees, Catherine (Ric Pomilia) Rees, Elizabeth (John) Von Arx, and James (Jen Page) Rees; grandchildren: Constance (Nick) Furnner and Samuel Von Arx; and great granddaughter: Madeline. She is preceded in death by her husband: Robert Rees; and parents: Hedomir and Mary Miller.
Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at a later date.
