Anna Linda Robinson, affectionately known as "Frosty" to those closest to her, was a beacon of light and love in the lives of everyone she touched. Born on November 20, 1954, in the vibrant city of
San Antonio, TX, she returned to her Heavenly Father in the same city on October 23, 2025, after a valiant battle with cancer. Her life was a testament to the virtues of kindness, intelligence, and an unwavering faith in God.
Frosty was the beloved daughter of Emzry Robinson, who preceded her in death, and Marion Robinson, who remains to cherish her memory. She grew up in a loving household with her late brother William Robinson; her sister, Catherine Zachary; and brothers, Daryl and Emzry Robinson-all of whom formed the core of her support throughout her life. Anna shared a deep and loving bond with her late husband, Curtis Edwards, and together they nurtured a legacy that continues through their children, Chris and Curtis Robinson, and their loving daughters-in-law, Tasha Clay and De'Ann McKinney.
The moments shared with her granddaughters T'sharea, Tay'sia, Tamia, Lorelei, and Autumn, her grandson Skyler, and her great-grandchildren Ra'naya, Zay'vion, Za'coy, and London were her most treasured.
Frosty's life was a portrait of love and service. She embodied the virtues of kindness and intelligence in every role she assumed-be it as a mother, sister, friend, or servant of God. Her friends, Jessie Powell, Debra Benson, and Kathy Gregory, can attest to her unwavering loyalty and compassion. To know Anna was to experience love in its purest form, and her legacy will endure through the lives of those she has left behind.
Her early years were spent in the hallways and classrooms of Smith Elementary School, Edgar Allan Poe Middle School, and Highlands High School, all in her hometown of San Antonio. Her quest for knowledge led her to further her education at St. Philip's College, where she honed the skills that would serve her well throughout her career. Anna dedicated nine fruitful years serving as a Senior Secretary at Parent Child Incorporated (PCI), where her diligence and warmth left a lasting impression on both colleagues and the community she served.
Anna's spiritual journey was deeply rooted in the Christian faith, and she was a committed and active member of Tried Stone Baptist Church under the guidance of the late Rev. C.J. Foster. Her leadership and devotion were evident as she presided over the Women's Ministry, directed the Youth Sunday School, and provided support to the Kitchen Ministry. Her love for God permeated every aspect of her life and inspired her to serve with grace and humility.
