Anna Marie Roller, 85, New England, ND passed away December 22, 2022 at St. Luke’s Home in Dickinson.
Anna Marie was born on January 28, 1937 in North Dakota, the daughter to Peter J. and Magdalena (Wayer) Lenhardt. She grew up on the family farm northwest of New England and graduated from St. Mary’s High School. It was during this time that Anna met Wenzel, and the two were married September 25, 1956. Their union was blessed with a son, Eugene, and a daughter, Daniela. The couple moved to California for a brief period, before returning to New England. It was here where they raised their two children. With her caring spirit, Anna touched the lives of many children through her time and talents shared in childcare. She also worked as a painter and as a cook. Anna enjoyed crafting, painting, and tending to her beautiful garden. She loved her animals, often tending to any sick ones in her neighborhood.
Anna was a member of St. Mary’s Altar Guild and St. Pius Verein, Schefield, ND.
Anna will be remembered for her selfless and hardworking personality, willing to help anyone in need.
Anna is survived by her 2 children, Eugene of New England, Daniela (Don J.) Howie of New England; her grandchildren, Shannon (Brett) Mathern of Bismarck, Philip of New England, Desiree (Leonard) Medina of Nampa, Idaho, Dustin (Rachel) Howie of Dickinson; and great-grandchildren, Stella, Cameron, Thomas, Emily, Kaisen and Kelby.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Nick Lenhardt; sister, Doreen Arrington; daughter-in-law, Diana Roller; and Wenzel Roller.
