Anna J. Voccia Rubino, 96, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at her home, with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Daniel Rubino. Anna was born in Derby on April 29, 1929, and was the daughter of the late Guiseppe and Santa Ceasarano Voccia. She had worked as a mechanist at United Elastic for 20 years and later as a salesperson at Heidi's Uniform Shop for 25 years. Anna enjoyed playing cards, Bingo, and coloring on her iPad. Mother of Daniel (Patricia) Rubino, Sandi (Paul) Barbiero and the late John Rubino. Grandmother of Kristen (Josh) Yahwak, Amy (Josh) Newton, Sara (Michael) DiPaolo, Ross (Julia) Rubino, Frank and Amara Barbiero. Also survived by her daughter-in-law, Donna Rubino; five great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her stepfather, Luigi Viola; siblings, Manuel (Wynnie) Voccia, Mildred (Joseph) LaFrance, Fannie (Charlie) Matto, Marie (Harold) Cartee, Rae (Steven) Novak, and Dorothy (Elmer) Cetrone; and many nieces and nephew. The family would like to extend a thank you to the nursing staff and aides for all their care and compassion, especially to Sandra Brown and nurse, Melissa, for your exceptional dedication, care, support and friendship.
Family and friends are invited to go directly to St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish at St. Therese Church, 555 Middletown Avenue, North Haven, on Wednesday, March 11th, at 10:00 A.M. to attend a Mass of Christian Burial and are all invited to attend the committal service immediately following in All Saints Cemetery.
