Anna Sain passed away peacefully on January 11, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, devotion, and cherished memories that will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
She was the beloved wife of the late Earl L. Sain and a devoted mother to Michael Sain and his wife Barbara Matthews, David Sain and his wife Cyndi, and the late Terri Sain. Anna was a proud and loving grandmother to Sam Sain and Alicia Sain, who brought her immense joy and pride.
Anna was a dear sister to George Matschulat, Maryann Euler, and William “Bo” Matschulat, and was preceded in death by her beloved siblings Betty Allen, Helen Winterstein, Paul Matschulat, Charles Matschulat, and Gertrude Blevins. She is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews who will fondly remember her kindness and warmth. She was predeceased by her dear friends Buzz and Audrey Robinson who shared many wonderful times together over the years.
Anna found great happiness in life’s simple pleasures. She loved country music and looked forward to country line dancing every Tuesday at Martins, where she shared laughter and friendship. She also enjoyed playing cards—especially pinochle and poker—and treasured the many moments spent gathered with family. Above all, Anna cherished her loved ones and the memories they created together, holding them close to her heart.
