Anna L. Stewart, born on February 17, 1936, in Brooklyn, New York, to her parents David and Gertrude, peacefully passed away on July 21, 2025. She lived a life characterized by kindness and a profound devotion to her family, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
Anna was the beloved mother to Ruthanne (James), James (Patricia), and David (Archie). Anna was a proud grandmother, embracing the joys of her grandchildren, including James and Melissa. Additionally, she was a devoted great-grandmother, deeply loving her great-grandchildren: Luke, Madison, Michael, and Aria. Anna also had 7 step-grandchildren and 7 step-great-grandchildren that she loved.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the visitation at Mangano Family Funeral Home, Inc., located at 1701 Deer Park Ave, Deer Park, NY 11729, on Thursday, July 24, 2025. The visitation will take place from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM and again from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. A prayer service will be held at the same location starting at 8:00 PM. Anna's journey will conclude with a service at Saint Charles Cemetery, located at 2015 Wellwood Ave, East Farmingdale, NY 11735, on July 25, 2025, starting at 12:00 PM and concluding at 1:00 PM. Family and friends who wish to attend are asked to meet at the funeral home at 11:00 AM.
Anna requested the celebration of life and not mourning her passing. She also requested that you wear bright and happy colors!
She will be remembered for her compassionate spirit and the unwavering love she extended to those around her. Anna L. Stewart's legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and the many lives she touched.
