Anna Mae Thomas

With hearts full of love and gratitude, we celebrate the life and homegoing of Mrs. Anna Mae Thomas, who transitioned peacefully into eternal rest on November 3, 2025, at the blessed age of 66.

Born on July 31, 1959, in New Orleans, Louisiana, Anna Mae was the beloved daughter of the late Rev. Dymond Thomas and Beaulah Thomas. From her earliest days, she carried a spirit of compassion, faith, and joy that touched all who knew her. Anna Mae lived a life that reflected faith, devotion, and compassion.

Anna Mae Thomas was a loving mother, cherished grandmother, and a true woman of God. Her greatest ministry was the love she poured into her family, friends, and everyone she met. She believed in the power of prayer, the beauty of kindness, and the promise of eternal life.

Her home was a haven of warmth and peace, filled with laughter, smiles, and the comforting aroma of her famous Sunday dinners, especially her family's favorite, "that sweet cornbread dressing". She touched countless lives with her wisdom, grace, and quiet strength, leaving a legacy of love that will never fade.

She leaves to cherish her memory three devoted children Renata Thomas (Stanley), Cierra Thomas (Willie), and James Thomas, twelve precious grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends who will continue to honor her life by walking in love.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Baptist Church, with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Guests are invited to wear black and gold, Anna's favorite color that represented her favorite team (Saints), as we rejoice in her homegoing and the promise of everlasting love.

Though her earthly journey has ended, her spirit lives on radiant and eternal in the presence of her Savior.
