Joseph Leonard "Nutt" Sutton departed this life on Sunday, November 9, 2025 at the age of 48. Joseph was the loving Fiancé of Shantrell Jones. Son of Deandra Fisher and the late Carl Lowe. Step son of August Fisher and Iria Lowe. Father of Darrell Martin, Jovonta and Johonz Robertson, Kevian, Qu'ran, Sadeeki and Melody Sutton and Mahlek Clay. Brother of Shandra Sutton, Ajuan Briggs, Natasha Riley, Carl Williams, Carl Sterling, Cashmeir Lewis,, Regine Johnson, Leonard Hayes and Kevin West. Preceded in death by his Grandparents; Freddie Johnson and Dorothy Sutton and Earl and Thelma Lowe. Two brothers; Kevin Briggs and Carl Faggin. He leaves to cherish his memories to his Godmother Terry Banister and devoted cousins Carl Sutton and Geanine Sutton Harris, also host of aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.

Broad St. New Orleans, La 70125 on Friday, November 21, 2025 at 11:00 am. Visitation begins at 10:00 am. Interment: Providence Memorial Park
