Anna Tomasso Obituary

Published by Legacy on Feb. 18, 2026.
It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our incredible mom, Anna Falzani Tomasso, on Monday, February 16, 2026.

She was born and raised in South Philadelphia on June 9, 1942 and was a 1960 graduate of St. Maria Goretti High School.

She married the love of her life, our dad, Anthony Tomasso on December 7, 1968 and shared 57 wonderful years together.

After raising her daughters she went back to work at Goldman Sachs where she worked there for over 20 years.

She was an extraordinary woman, whose love, generosity, kindness, and beauty illuminated the world around her. Her smile and infectious laughter had the power to light up the room. She was our rock and the glue that held our family together. Her family was her everything and she loved us more than anything in the world.

Other than family, her passions included traveling, reading, watching the Hallmark and HGTV channels, attending church and loved her online shopping. However, her absolute favorite passion was spending time with her children, especially her grandchildren.

Her presence touched countless lives as she was a selfless individual. She was the best wife, mom, grandmom, friend and neighbor and her absence will leave a hole in our hearts.

She was the strongest woman we knew, who never complained no matter how much pain she was in. She was blessed with all the wonderful memories she had with spending time her family.

Life's unpredictability can be difficult to navigate, but her light will always remind us of the strength and resilience that we all have. She is now reunited with her parents, Thomas and Carmella (Minnie) Falzani her brother Thomas Falzani (Veronica) and the many loved ones who preceded her.

As we navigate ourselves through the grieving process, we encourage you to hold each other with compassion and kindness. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your love and support.

Anna is survived by her husband, Anthony, her daughters, Stacy (Jim/Reds) Brunick and Melissa (Jeff) Westphal, her grandchildren, Anthony, Matthew, Isabella, and Jeffrey, along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Although she never any biological sons, she considered and treated Jim and Jeff as one of her own.

She was a longtime parishioner of Our Lady of Hope Parish, for over 50 years, where she was committed to her faith.

A viewing for our mother, Anna Falzani Tomasso, will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 from 10:30 am to 11:45 am at Our Lady of Hope Parrish, St. Agnes Church 701 Little Gloucester Road, Blackwood, NJ 08012.

Funeral mass will begin at 12 noon.

Entombment to follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery 240 Lower Landing Road, Blackwood, NJ 08012

Our Mom will always be with us in spirit and forever in our hearts.
