Anna M. (Ondo) Washko, 94, wife of the late Andrew R. Washko formally of Douglassville, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2025 at Manatawny Manor surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Pottstown, PA she was the daughter of the late George and Mary (Fedor) Ondo.
Anna was a devote Catholic parishioner of Holy Trinity R.C.C., Pottstown and was an active member of the Holy Trinity Rosary Society, the Holy Trinity Woman's Guild, the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary, and the Padre Pio Prayer Group. She would often raise funds to organize bus trips to Christian shrines.
Anna was excellent at bowling and most everything she did, always striving to do her best. She loved to bake, sew, shop, play bingo, make new friends, and visit the sick. She always put others before herself. Anna will especially be remembered for her selflessness and ability to make people feel loved.
Anna leaves behind cherished memories for her brother, Joe Ondo husband of Nancy, and her son and three daughters: Michael Washko husband of Maryellen of Barto, MaryLou Washko of Pottstown, Jane Falcone of Douglassville, and Judy Morta wife of David of Douglassville. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren: Bryan and Zachary Washko, Colleen Rhoads, and Erin, David, Ryan, James, Isabella, and Gage Morta. In addition are 5 great grandchildren: Molly, Carter, Landon, Addyson, and Audrey Jo.
Anna was predeceased by her parents, two brothers: Stephen and George, and three sisters: Mary Andre, Agnes Ondo, and Helen Ondo.
A mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Aloysius Church on Thursday, June 26, 2025 at 11:00 am. Visitation is from 10:00 – 11:00 am at the church with interment at Holy Trinity Cemetery in Stowe, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Saint Padre Pio Shrine (National Centre for Padre Pio, 111 Barto Road, Barto, PA 19504).
