Anna Williams, age 82, of Brookfield, passed peacefully on January 15, 2024, at her home.
A celebration of Anna's life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Wright Funeral Home in Brookfield.
Memorials to God's Garden Church may be left at or mailed to Wright Funeral Home, P.O. Box 496, Brookfield, MO 64628.
Anna Ruth, daughter of William Elliott and Mildred Allen, was born August 17, 1941, in Keytesville. On September 6, 1974, she married Richard Williams who preceded her in death on February 18, 2005.
Anna worked for many years as a waitress and dishwasher at Black Jack Restaurant Country Cream in Brookfield and later worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at McLarney Manor in Brookfield.
Anna was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed the time they spent together. She loved getting out and traveling with her friends and when she was home, she loved doing artwork and puzzles. She also enjoyed collecting Native American artifacts.
Anna was a member God's Garden Church in Brookfield.
Survivors include her four children, Cecelia Allen of Brookfield, Ricky Allen of Chillicothe, Emma Allen and Brad Duncan of Brookfield, and Josephine Shoemaker and husband, Jonathan of Missoula, Montana; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother, Friz Elliott of Moberly; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Betty Tolson and one brother, Howard Elliott.
