Anna Laura Young

Anna Laura Young (Wyatt) 87, passed away on February 13,2024 in Woodville, Texas. Anna was born to parents Robert Wyatt & Lee Darden on August 3, 1936, in Chester, Texas.
Anna lived her life in the Chester area, she attended Chester Primary School then moved to Houston where she graduated and earned her Diploma. Anna also attended Angelina Community College in Lufkin. She enjoyed school life and went on to be a Teachers Aide in Corrigan, Tx. along with being an Aide and Librarian in Chester ISD. She also was a bus driver for the school district as well and enjoyed teaching and being involved with the children and friends she made along the way. Anna served the Lord throughout her life and was a part of her church's VBS summer program and loved being able to be in fellowship with the church friends and with her family. She enjoyed knitting and was an avid family genealogist. She was active in her community from writing articles for the local newspaper to being on the board of the Corrigan Community Nutrition Program. She enjoyed life and enjoyed it even more when her family and friends were around. She was known as Mawma to the grandbabies and anyone else she called family.
She is survived by; Daughters: Tracy & husband, and Yvone Wyatt, Sons: Shedric Greene & fiancé Kimmie Rhodes, Dean Wyatt & wife Rose, Sister: Virginia Styles, Brothers: Thomas Ray, Thomas Egans, & Edwin Egans, Grandchildren: Theodore Greene and Victoria Wyatt, Great Grandchildren: Tiana Wyatt.
She is preceded in death by many loved ones.
