ANNABEL CONN Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Waters Funeral Home on Dec. 30, 2025.
Annabel touched many lives as a student, Ball State grad, teacher, entrepreneur, faithful servant, and owner of Conn's Auto Supply after her husband's death. Anyone who knows Annabel will agree that she loved to stay very active and always did so in ways to serve her King and loved ones to the best of her ability. She wore many hats as daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and on and on. She wore each one beautifully and we are grateful for her love. All of these activities, roles and accolades are of significant value yet pale in comparison to the fact that she is a child of God. Most importantly, she chose to believe that she is a child of God and received Christ in order to obtain salvation. It is because of Christ that Annabel's light shined brightly and His love poured through her, permeating the lives of so many people. We praise Him for sharing her with us, and rest assured that we will meet again in glory! Knowing Annabel, in addition to her many jewels and crowns, she is probably baking plenty of chocolate chip cookies and brownies to serve her King! We all know hers are the most heavenly of all!
Please join us in the celebration of her life and legacy of rich love and fellowship with the Lord, her family and her friends at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 2 in Waters Funeral Home, 501 W. Washington St., Hartford City. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. She had a way of ensuring that you knew how "dear and special" you were to her. Let us come together to share in our commemoration of how very dear and special she is to us. Rev. Lloyd Hall will officiate and private burial will follow.
Memorials may be sent to DeSoto U. M. Church, Grace U.M. Church or Church Resource Ministries with envelopes available at the funeral home.
