Annabell Melendez

Annabell Melendez, 74, of Monroe, NJ, passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at CentraState Medical Center. Born in Lisbon, Portugal, Annabell later immigrated to the United States, where she built a beautiful life filled with love, family, and meaningful friendships.

Annabell had many interests and hobbies that brought her joy throughout the years. She especially enjoyed going out to eat, visiting with her grandchildren and walking her favorite fur-grandbaby Maddie. She was one who never liked to sit still and could often be found playing bingo, going to the movies, or shopping. She was predeceased by her beloved parents, Simon and Taube Feiler; her devoted husband, Jaime O. Melendez; and her brother, Michael Feiler.

Annabell leaves behind her cherished family: her son, Jaime Melendez, and his wife, Christina; her brother, Joseph Feiler; her sister, Regina Quinton and niece "Jeniffir"; and her treasured grandchildren, Julia, Ryan, and Alaina Melendez, who were her greatest pride and joy. Family and friends are invited to gather in her memory on Monday, September 1st, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM, at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. A funeral service will be held at 5:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will take place on Tuesday at Calverton National Cemetery in Calverton, NY.
