Stephen Nicosia

Stephen Nicosia, 69, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 18, 2025, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Stephen moved to New Jersey as an adult, where he built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Before his retirement, Stephen worked as a business analyst for NYK Line, where his dedication and professionalism earned him great respect. Stephen will be remembered for his gentle spirit and joyful presence. He had a sweet tooth, a love for the excitement of Atlantic City, and a passion for music. Whether cheering for his beloved Mets or spinning 70s classics as the DJ at family gatherings, Stephen had a way of bringing people together and lighting up every room he entered. Nothing meant more to him than his family.

Stephen was predeceased by his brother, Anthony Nicosia, and his parents, Salvatore and Nancy Nicosia. He is survived by his loving wife, Loraine Nicosia; his sons, Stephen Nicosia and Jonathan Nicosia (Anna); his adored granddaughter, Lucy Nicosia, who brought him endless joy; and his sister, Roseanne Mariano (Dominick).

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Stephen's life on Thursday, August 21st, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. A Funeral Liturgy will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM at St. Gabriel's Main Church in Marlboro, followed by interment at Holmdel Cemetery and Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Stephen's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
