Annabelle Rodriguez Ponce aged 67 passed away peacefully on February 01, 2024, at her home in Galveston, TX.
She was born on June 16, 1956, in Alice, TX, to Clelia Vela Rodriguez & Gregory Rodriguez. She was a proud resident of Galveston, TX and was a 1974 graduate of Ball High School. She worked for American Indemnity/ United Fire Group & for the County of Galveston for many years.
She is preceded in death by her Parents, Clelia Vela Jimenez & Gregory Rodriguez, and the father of her two sons, Bernardo Soto Ponce III.
She is survived by her sons Brian (Marbella) Ponce & Bernardo (Amy) Soto Ponce IV, granddaughters, Asia ReAnne Coronado Ponce & Kayla Clelia Ponce, siblings, Sylvia Sanchez, Angelica Jimenez & Armando Jimenez, Sr., and dearest love & best friend Peter Grasso.
She will be missed by family, including numerous aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and as well by all the friendships she made throughout the years.
Pallbearers are Philip Cantu, Sr., Alex Papavasiliou, Oscar Hanson, Armando, Jimenez, Jr, Jared Sanchez, Neil Scofelia & Brandon Delossantos as Honorary Pallbearer.
Annabelle's family will receive visitors from 5:00 until 7:00 pm, Thursday, February 8th, at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home, 1201 23rd St. Galveston, TX 77550, with a Rosary to be held at 6:30PM
Funeral service will be 11:00 am, Friday, February 9th 2024, at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home, 1201 23rd St. Galveston, TX 77550, with burial following at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
