Annabelle Richards Obituary

Mrs. Annabelle Richards, age 95, passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at Abington Manor on Morgan Hill. Annabelle was an outstanding homemaker, seamstress, and baker who always contributed her talents to help family, church, and community. She was born in Easton, PA on September 27, 1927, to Frances (Litsinger) and Burnal Kantner and grew up in the Easton area.

She married Arnold Walter Richards, June 10, 1950, in Easton, PA. Annabelle and Arnold celebrated their 64th Anniversary in June of 2014, shortly before he passed away.

Besides her homemaker, wife, and mother activities, Annabelle worked in her sister's "Sandy King's" pet store, was an active fan at her daughter Pam's sporting events, and she served as a proud Republican election official for many years.

Surviving Annabelle are her two daughters, Sandra Ann Weigand and her spouse, Thomas, and Pamela Eileen Richards and her spouse, Eunice; four grandchildren, Brian Hassick (Velvet), Amy Hassick Baxter (Jeff), Tammy Jane Weigand Falls (Travis), and Scott Weigand; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Faye; as well as nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Arnold, and two sisters, Jeanette Otto and Mary Jane Campbell.

Dependable at family events... knowledgeable about life and great stories! Never took their advice without being in awhh and wonder of their meaning. She was a great person who was loved by many! Her laugh... wisdom and strength will be surely missed! Blessings to each and everyone of you! Angels took her to her heavenly home to gather with the friends and family gone before.
