Annalee Klevorn, 85, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 7:17 pm January 10, 2022 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana. She was born April 11, 1936 in Opdyke, Illinois to the late Royal "Howard" and Henrietta Marie (Danzl) Veatch. Annalee married Robert Klevorn on October 2, 1954 at Saint Mary Church in Mount Vernon. They were blessed with fifty-nine years of marriage before he preceded her in death on August 17, 2013.
Annalee is survived by her children, Robert Michael Klevorn of Mount Vernon, Illinois, Cynthia "Cindy" Marie Sloan and husband, John of Mount Vernon, Illinois; grandchildren, Daniel Lee Klevorn and Matthew Paul Sloan both of Mount Vernon, Illinois; granddaughter-in-law, Sara Sloan of Thompsonville, Illinois; great-grandson, Ayden Thomas Sloan; siblings, Ronald Howard Veatch and wife, Rita of Mount Vernon, Illinois, Bonita Marie Lyons of Auburndale, Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Annalee was preceded in death by her grandson, David Andrew Sloan; siblings, Reatha May Farris and Royal A. "Bud" Veatch and wife, Geraldine; and brother-in-law, Tony Lyons.
Annalee was a member of Saint Mary Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Mount Vernon.
A Visitation will be held Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at Saint Mary Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Mount Vernon, Illinois. A Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 am with Father Joel Seipp officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Mount Vernon, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Annalee's honor to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or St. Mary School.
