Anne Elizabeth Boonstra passed away peacefully December 8, 2025 in Logansport, IN. She was born January 30, 1949, in Bethesda, Maryland to Charles and Esther Boonstra.
Anne grew up in Bluffton, IN and graduated from Bluffton High School in 1967. She studied Applied Arts & Painting at Virginia Intermont Junior College in Bristol, Virginia. Then went on to study Painting & Sculpting at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA.
She was a gentle, patient soul and a devoted Christian. Anne was a prayer warrior, considerate and committed to helping others. She will be remembered most for her artistic mind, the many paintings & drawings she leaves behind and her love of cats.
Anne will be deeply missed by her nieces & nephews: Amy (Terry) Kunnen, MI, Mark (LeAnne Hall) Boonstra of Logansport, Miranda (Tracy) Boucher of Logansport, Andrew (Taylor) Boonstra of Royal Center and Alexander (Kayley) Boonstra of Peru. She also leaves behind many great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Michael E. Boonstra, father, Charles Boonstra, and mother, Esther Conelley Boonstra.
Services are being arranged at Marocco Funeral Home of Ran’s Funeral & Cremation Services, 119 East Market Street, Logansport, IN 46947. The family will hold a private cemetery service in West Lafayette.
