Anne Davis

Anne Davis (nee Mazzeo), age 100, of Ocean City, NJ passed away peacefully while surrounded by loving family on Monday, March 4, 2024.
Mrs. Davis was born and raised in Glassboro, NJ and had resided in Medford, NJ for 45 years before moving to Ocean City. Anne graduated from Glassboro High School and went on to work as a teacher's aide. In her younger years, she delighted in taking ski trips to Vermont with her husband James. She also enjoyed spending time with him while he watched football, and eventually blossomed into huge Eagles fan herself. Mrs. Davis similarly relished in traveling with her family, and was fortunate to have been able to visit many destinations such as Europe with them. Anne was very stylish, a social butterfly, and made friends everywhere she went. But above all, she cherished the time spent with family, and will be deeply missed by those she leaves behind.
Anne was predeceased by her beloved spouse, James Davis; daughter, Linda Rapp; parents, Frank and Anna Mazzeo; brothers, Jack and Yonell Mazzeo; sisters, Frances Kelly, Mary Brigandi, Nellie Ann Vanleer, Nellie Mazzeo. She is survived by her daughters, Marcia Love (William), Susan Hade (Alan); 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Thomas Rapp (predeceased, Linda); good friends and family, Mary Nell and George Berry; brother-in-law, Joseph Kelly (Frances) many nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, March 16th from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM immediately followed by mass of the Christian burial, both at St. Mary of the Lakes RC Church, 40 Jackson Road, Medford, NJ. Interment will follow at Colestown Cemetery in Cherry Hill, NJ.
