Anne Marie Fitzpatrick, 73, of Ruby, NY, passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY. She was born on May 19, 1952, in Staten Island, NY, daughter of the late John and Julia (Fitzgerald) Fitzpatrick of Millstreet County Cork, Ireland. Anne was married to her loving husband of 49 years, Dr. Vincent D. Gorman.
She was a graduate of the Notre Dame Academy in Staten Island and later received her Bachelor's Degree in Biology from LeMoyne College and her Master's Degree in Nutrition from Rutgers University.
She was a Registered Dietician and Health Fitness Instructor who had her own private practice.
Anne was a Fellow of the American Dietetic Association where she also served as a Political Representative. She enjoyed traveling, was an animal lover, and was an avid reader. Anne also had her own talk radio show entitled, “Women in the 90s” on WKNY for 10 years. She was an enthusiastic conversationalist on a wide variety of topics.
Anne is survived by her husband, Dr. Vincent Gorman, her daughters, Gillian Gorman-Rabin and her husband Karden, and Christina Gorman, her grandchildren, Leia Rabin and Zelda Rabin, her siblings, John Fitzpatrick, Michael Fitzpatrick, and Dennis Fitzpatrick, and her cousin Mary Fitzpatrick O'Keefe.
Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, NY 12401, where family and friends may visit on Thursday October 23, 2025, from 4pm to 7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Friday October 24, 2025, at St. Ann’s Church, 25 Hallihan Hill Road, Kingston, NY 12401. Burial will follow in St. Ann’s Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ulster County SPCA at www.UCSPCA.org, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation at www.t2t.org, or Wounded Warrior Project at www.WoundedWarriorProject.org. A tribute for Anne can be found at www.KeyserFuneralService.com, where you may leave memories and expressions of sympathy for her family.
