Anne LaPointe Obituary
Anne was the devoted wife of Melvin LaPointe, who proceeded her in death. Anne relocated to Huntsville, Alabama after thier marriage, where she made her home for more than six decades. She built a full and independent life rooted in creativity, discipline, and family. Anne was a lifelong dog lover, an avid bowler, an artist, school crossing guard and an entrepreneur. She was known for her determination, work ethic, and sharp sense of independence.
Anne was proceeded in death by her mother, father and both brothers; Robert & Murray Nichols.
Anne was a loving mother to her sons & family. She was survived by: her son Thomas J. LaPointe & daughter in-love Jeanne Wonders; son James M. LaPointe, daughter in-law BiBi LaPointe and grandson Raphael, granddaughters: Ashley Gaddis & her husband Jarrod Gaddis, Paige Head & her husband Steve Head, great grandson Levi Head.
Please join us in this Celebration of Life to be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 13550 Chaney Thompson Road SE, Huntsville, Alabama 35803.
Visitation with cremains will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by Mass at 11:00 a.m., with a cantor and musician. A luncheon will follow the service.
In lieu of flowers please donate to 'HOTC' Huntsville Obedience Training Club and Humane Society.
Anne will be remembered for her strength, creativity, love of animals, and devotion to her family. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
