Southampton, PA. Born on October 20, 1934, in
Philadelphia, PA, she graced this world with her presence for 91 years.
Anne was a woman of strong faith and resilience, a lifelong parishioner of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish in Feasterville. Her life was a testament to her unwavering dedication to family. Anne had a deep love for nature and enjoyed many camping trips with family and friends. A favorite hobby was working in her garden. Later in life she developed a fascination for trees. She took great pleasure in watching the deer at Southampton Estates. This was only topped by her enthusiasm for Philadelphia sports, especially her "Iggles" and Phillies.
Her lifelong work as a homemaker, wife and mother was complemented by her years at Gillespie Chiropractic Center, where she enjoyed her work and the relationships she built with patients who were friends and neighbors until her retirement at the age of 80. Anne's nurturing spirit extended beyond her family; she was always eager to lend a helping hand, even when her physical ability suggested she take a break.
Standing at 5'2", Anne was known for her fun-loving, witty, and sarcastic demeanor. She had a unique zest for life, which included driving her late husband Jim's Ford F150, a vehicle that symbolized many cherished memories.
Anne was preceded in death by her beloved husband of nearly 50 years, James J. Lorenz; her son, James M. Lorenz (Donna); and her brothers, Peter Flood (Alice) and Stephen Flood (Sara). She is survived by her loving children: Terry Luttrell (Jim), Patty Nagel (Roy), and Stephen Lorenz (Joanne). As a cherished "Gram," she leaves behind her grandchildren: Briana Garton (Bill), Stevie Sprouse (Cam), Kailie Hopkins (Rob), Stephen Lorenz, Jamie Lorenz, Julianna Lorenz, and Dylan Lorenz. Her legacy extends to her great-grandchildren: James Garton, Patrick Garton, Kennedy Sprouse, Charlie Sprouse, Bob Hopkins, and Benjamin Hopkins. She is also survived by her brother, Rev. Msgr. J. Michael Flood.
