Anne Elizabeth Mitchell, 84, of Londonderry, NH, died Friday November 15, 2024 in Parkland Medical Center in Derry, NH of congestive heart failure. She was born in 1940 in Lowell, MA, a daughter of Harold and Mary (Gallagher) Sullivan.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jonathan Mitchell of Londonderry, son Robert Catalano of Lexington, MA, daughter Julie Catalano of Somerville, MA, step-daughter Laura Piscitello of Belmont, NH, step-son David Mitchell of Nashua, NH, nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, brother Joseph Sullivan of Lowell, MA, brother John Sullivan of WV, sister Kathy Sullivan of Estes Park, CO, sister Pamela Bianculli of Deale, MD and several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Anne graduated from Lowell Technical College Secretarial College and worked in Civil Service for the U. S. Government and was an Executive Secretary for the U.S. Air Force at Hanscom Field in Bedford, MA for many years. As husband Jon was transferred many times for his job, Anne held several other positions for other government and private companies in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Michigan, Colorado and Tennessee.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024 from 2:30 to 4:30 PM at the Peabody Funeral Home, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry. A memorial service and time of sharing will follow at 4:30 PM in the funeral home. Burial and further services will be private for the family. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place Memphis, TN 38105
