Anne Marie (Senica) Nedza, age 100, formerly of Oglesby, went to live in eternal life with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, March 22, 2024.
A prayer service will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, March 28, 2024 at the Prey-Mueller Funeral Home in Oglesby with Rev. Paul Carlson, pastor of Holy Family Catholic Church, Oglesby officiating. Burial will follow in St. Vincent's Cemetery, LaSalle. Visitation will be held 9-10:00 AM Thursday at the funeral home.
Born October 15, 1923 in Oglesby, Anne was the daughter of John and Josephine (Jackson) Senica and was one of 12 children. Anne was a 1942 graduate of LaSalle-Peru High School. She attended cosmetology school and spent 77 years styling hair. In 1943, she married Edward Nedza and together they had three children, Bette, Christine, and Edward. Anne and Ed spent 37 years together until Ed's passing in 1980. Anne moved to Florida and was fortunate enough to find love again. She married Clifford Guggemos. They spent 28 years together before his passing in 2011.
Anne enjoyed baking, sewing, gardening, crafts, and traveling . She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Oglesby as well as a member of Saint Patrick's Catholic Church in Yorkville.
Survivors include her son, Edward (Cathy) Nedza of Rice Lake, WI; her grandchildren, Susan (Steven) Hanson of Yorkville, Laurie (Scott) Hatella and Deborah Peterson both of New Richmond, WI, Douglas Nedza of Pardeeville, WI, Jennifer (Daniel) Miller of Portage, WI, Thomas (Marion) Brand of West Palm Beach, FL, and Gerald (Janay) Brand of Yorkville; 14 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren. She will forever be in our hearts!
Anne is preceded in death by her husbands, Edward and Clifford; her daughters, Bette Brand and Christine Nedza; her parents, John and Josephine; her siblings; and her son-in-law, Thomas Brand.

Pallbearers will be William Loftus Jr., Stephen Peterson, Cole Yearsley, C.J. Peterson, Kameron Yearsley, Thomas Brand, and Gerald Brand.
