Anne Olds Obituary
Anne was born September 20, 1938, in Detroit MI, the daughter of the later Ormond and Catherine Olds.
She grew up with strong values in hard work, Catholic faith, and family principles that guided her throughout her entire life. She had a long successful career with ACS Healthcare Solutions where she served as a director and traveling Sr. Consultant until the age of 70. Anne's most devoted friend was Donna Jankowski whom she worked with and had lunch on every Friday for 20 years. Her fondest memories in childhood were of going to the DYC Detroit Yacht Club and sailing on her father's yacht to Mackinaw on the "Jolly Roger". She cherished her Wednesday dinner and shopping outings with her son Peter and her homemade meal deliveries by her daughter Margaret "Margie".
She was the third of four daughters. Her sisters Marilyn and Patty are deceased, and she is survived by her sister, Sister Catherine Olds, OP (Margie).
She is the proud mother of Peter Wojcicki (daughter-in-law Julie Wojcicki) and daughter Margaret Horne (son-in-law Michael Horne), and son Paul Wojcicki.
She has been in a special relationship with her grandchildren: Kaylee Wojcicki, Garrett Wojcicki, Mckenna Wojcicki, David Waddington, Jane Waddington and in addition several great grandchildren.
Anne passed away on her sister Patty's birthday Dec 18th.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 23, 11 am (in state 10:30 am), Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 23615 Power Road, Farmington.
Anne will be laid to rest privately with her family at All Saints Cemetery, Waterford, at a later date.
