Annette Chisnell Obituary

Published by Legacy on Nov. 3, 2025.
Annette E. Chisnell (Bryant), age 63, of York, Pennsylvania, passed away surrounded by love on Monday, October 27, 2025.
Annette was born on September 7, 1962, in Tampa, Florida, to the late Willibald and Melva Bryant. From her early days to her final ones in York, PA, Annette brightened the world with her goofy personality, unwavering love for others, and a deep dedication to her family.
Annette was a true artist at heart. She channeled her creativity into everything she touched, finding joy in painting, making jewelry, scrapbooking, and coloring. More than any hobby, her greatest passion was her family and friends. For years, she stayed home to lovingly care for her children. Once they were all in school, she carried her dedicated work ethic into the professional world, where she excelled in various positions within the retail and grocery industries.
Generous with her time and her talent, Annette was famous among her loved ones for her amazing Pennsylvania Dutch Chicken Pot Pie. She found spiritual comfort in her favorite poem, "Footprints in the Sand," a passage that reflects the steadfast faith and love she demonstrated throughout her life.
Annette is survived by her devoted husband, Robert Chisnell; her three beloved daughters, Jessica Colon (Dover, PA), Courtney Chisnell (Dover, PA), and Tiffany Colon (York, PA); and six cherished grandchildren: Angelica, Espen, Avalon, Philip, Luna, and Elijah. She is also survived by her sisters, Patty and Brenda, her brother, Brian, and countless nieces, nephews, and great nieces/great nephews. A testament to her lasting friendship, Annette is also survived by her best friend of 51 years, Dawn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willibald and Melva Bryant, and three sisters, Deb, Carolyn, and Pam.
Service Details:
A Celebration of Life will be held toward the end of November at her place of residence. The exact date and time will be decided and shared by the family in the coming days.
