Byron was born in Montgomery AL on August 13, 1944 and was the son of the late Obed B. Oglesby Jr. and Binnie (Price) Oglesby. He proudly served his country in the US Army and was honorably discharged. He worked as a truck driver most of his life until he retired.
In addition to his wife Betty, he is survived by his sister Stephanie Phillips and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services and interment are being held privately by the family under the direction of Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., of East York.
