Harry B. Emig

Harry Bernard Emig, 83, passed away October 28, 2025 at home where he lived with his son Chris and daughter-in-law, Michelle @ 760 Jefferson Lane, Red Lion, PA.
Harry was born to parents Burton and Edith (Ball) Emig on September 7, 1942 in York, PA. He went to York Catholic HS and later obtained a GED.
Harry worked at Reeds Chainworks. He strove towards becoming a welder through apprenticeship. He started working at Caterpillar. Harry stayed with Caterpillar for 32 years until retirement.
Harry was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in York, PA.
Harry is survived by his sons Christopher William and Steven Michael from his first wife, Dorothy. Grandchildren Lindsey Winters, Benjamin Emig, Michael Emig, and Hannah Emig. Great Grandchildren Kara, Ava, Mia, Maximus, Jacob, Jackson, Lilah, and Ember.
Harry is also survived by his daughter, Kelsey Stief from his second wife, Gail. Grandchildren Onyx and Grayson.
Harry, lastly was survived by his stepdaughter, Katherine and stepson, Michael from his third wife, Julie.
A visitation will be held from 10-11am Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at Saint Mary's Church, 309 S. George St. York. The Mass will begin at 11am with Rev. John Kuchinski as celebrant. Interment will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery following Mass. Then a luncheon will be held at St. Mary's. The John W. Keffer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., West York, is assisting with arrangements.
