Annette Lynn Couture

Annette Lynn Couture: AKA Lynn Esty 59, passed away unexpectedly on October 13, 2025, at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. She was born July 15, 1966, in Springfield, Vt. the daughter of Robert and Beverly (Bradish) Howe.

Lynn was a Librarian in Ascutney and Brownsville, Vt. for several years and most recently was employed with Whelen Engineering in Charlestown, NH.

She was very active in the Town of Weathersfield holding many positions over the years including Constable and working with the Listers office and the Fire Commission.

Lynn loved animals and fostered hundreds of animals from horses to guinea pigs, but mostly dogs. working with several area rescue groups over the years.

Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren any chance she could. She loved going to the beach in Maine. You would always see her crocheting anywhere she went, making blankets for her loved ones. She enjoyed riding and taking care of her horses. In her mid to late twenties, she lived in Alaska and was looking forward to visiting again.

She is survived by her daughters; Ashley Smith (Patrick) of Weathersfield, Mikala Rein (Gregory) of Litchfield, Ct., and Emma McGuirk (Cole) of Springfield, her mother Beverly Howe-Fluette of Weathersfield, sisters; Cathy Pollard of Springfield, Sue Cox of Baltimore and Janet Howe of Springfield. Five grandchildren; Regan, Morgan, Evelyn, Mason and Gregory Jr. She is also survived by the father of their three children Mike Esty and by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Lynn was predeceased by her father Robert Howe.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at the 1879 School House in Perkinsville, VT from 10am - 1pm. Address: 1862 VT Route 106, Weathersfield, VT 05151.
