Annette Burke Farrior

Annette Burke Farrior was born on September 5, 1959, in Richmond, Virginia. She peacefully transitioned on February 11, 2026 surrounded by the love of family and the grace of God.

Annette was a strong, faithful, and joyful woman who loved the Lord and cherished her family deeply. Known for her fun spirit, resilience, and warm heart, she brought light and laughter wherever she went. Her life was a reflection of her faith, strength, and unwavering love for those she held dear.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Raymond and Ethel Burke; her maternal grandparents, Early and Kate Fletcher; her father, Raymond Burke II; her mother, Maggie Fletcher Worsham; her bonus mother, Eloise Burke; and her two brothers, Timothy Pennie and Kevin Burke.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory her devoted husband, William Bernard Farrior; four daughters, Angela, Andrea, Alicia, and Angel; and one son, Damien(Alexis). She is also survived by her three brothers, Raymond Burke III, James Hines (Teresa), and Corey Burke (Latonya).

Annette was a proud and loving grandmother to sixteen grandchildren: Shanyia, Deyani (Emmanuel), Aziana (Tylis), Shaun, Ayanna, Terrance, Tearre, Alesia, Trayvon, Ky'zori, Shyheim, Devon, Jia, Jamar, August, and Aria. She was also blessed with three great-grandchildren, My'air, Silas, and Saint, with one more precious great-grandchild on the way.

She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and dear friends who will forever hold her memory in their hearts.

Annette's legacy of love, faith, strength, and joy will continue to live on through all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Service will be held on Saturday. February 21, 2026 at 1 pm at Ivy Baptist church in Newport News, Va 23607
