Annette Gelber Obituary
October 29, 2025
Annette "Nettie" Gelber, age 96 of Stratford, CT, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, October 29, 2025. Nettie was born in Bridgeport, CT, a daughter of the late George and Bella Weisman.
Nettie is survived by her devoted daughters, Jody Gelber Gardner, Janet Colangelo (Gary), her one and only adored granddaughter, Gilbey Delgreco (Frank) and by nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Mike, and by her dear sister Beattie Bernstein.
The family would like to thank her loving companion Marie and Caregivers from VITAS.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to VITAS, TAILS Animal Rescue and Congregation Rodeph Sholom.
Funeral services will take place on Sunday, November 2, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. from The Abraham L. Green and Son Funeral Home, 88 Beach Road, Fairfield, CT, with interment following at Agudas Achim Cemetery, 250 Reid Street, Fairfield, CT. Shiva will be observed on Sunday evening.
