Mrs. Annette Gresham

Mildred Annette Norris Gresham, 95 years of age, passed away on December 11, 2025.

Mrs. Gresham was born on October 13, 1930, to the late Mills Elbert Norris and the late Pauline English Norris. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Emmett Malcolm Gresham Jr.; her brother, Leonard Elbert Norris; and her sister, Christine Norris Shepherd.

She answered to many names-Annette, Mickey, and most lovingly, Mimi. Mimi was cherished by her family, by the friends of her grandchildren, and by the 30-plus years of students who knew her through her daughter's classroom. She often said that her greatest accomplishment was her family, and she lived each day devoted to them.

Mrs. Gresham was employed by Commercial Bank and Trust Co., now Wells Fargo, for 42 years, retiring as assistant vice president and manager of the Griffin–Hampton office.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, whom she loved deeply and supported until her final days: Kenny and Delaina Gresham of Thomaston, and Kristie and Robert Hall of Griffin. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren and their spouses-Jennifer and Arcy Krey, Julianne Gresham, Ryan Hall, and Emily and Riley Heinzel-as well as her great-grandchild, Jaycen Gresham. She is also survived by a special nephew, Timothy Norris Shepherd, and his children, Patrick, Eric, and Alec Shepherd.

At Mrs. Gresham's request, no public services will be held.
