On December 20, 2025, Anet Quigg Jackson was welcomed into her eternal home at the age of 90. She was surrounded by her loving husband, Jerry Jackson; their four children, Clay, Morgan, Sandy, and Cindy; and their granddaughters, Shannon and Aquila. Grandchildren not present in body were present in spirit. She spent her final days at home, enveloped by love, singing, and the eager assurance of "a place prepared" for her by her Savior.

Born a farmer's daughter to Gladys and Erskine Quigg on January 21, 1935, in rural Idaho, Anet and her sister were cared for in their younger years by their grandfather, Alexander, after the tragic death of her mother in childbirth. Alexander was a loyal and generous man, remembered by Anet for controversially defending Japanese neighbors against internment camps. His spirit and courage would live on in his granddaughter.

From an early age, Anet was sensitive to the voice of God. As a child, praying and questioning, she saw a vision of a Bible and heard a voice say, "Test everything by this Book." This would become foundational to her life and calling. She would later marry her college sweetheart, Jerry Jackson, and the two would spend the next 70 years of marriage following the voice of the Lord by faith into unexpected adventures. They would eventually co-found Faith Comes By Hearing in 1972, a groundbreaking oral Bible ministry focused on providing the New Testament in audio form in the heart language of the peoples of the world. Their three sons would join them in this ministry. Anet was instrumental in the recording process, from envisioning and recording the first dramatized New Testament ever to traveling the globe to facilitate recordings in dozens of languages. To date, their work has spanned over 170 countries and more than 2,500 languages.

In addition to her life's work, Anet will be remembered by those who knew her for her energy, joy, spunk, courage, love, enthusiasm, creativity, and faithfulness.

Anet is survived by her husband, Jerry; four children, Clay (Thuy) Jackson, Morgan (Mary) Jackson, Sandy (Catherine) Jackson, and Cindy Lohr; seven grandchildren, Shannon Baldwin, Hiram Lohr, Aaron Jackson, Evan Lohr, Brian Jackson, Merrily Fillmore, and Aquila Kappy; and eleven great-grandchildren, Brayden Lohr, Simeon Baldwin, Kinsey Fillmore, Jackson Fillmore, Aurora Lohr, Gideon Baldwin, Nova Kappy, Dylan Fillmore, Finley Jackson, Sailor Jackson, and Sterling Jackson; as well as many honorary children and grandchildren worldwide.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gladys and Erskine Quigg; siblings, Gay Stuart, Larry Quigg, and Carl Quigg; and grandson, Dane Jackson.

Her presence will be greatly missed by her large family, circle of friends, and the many influenced by her-but her spirit is felt in the work that continues around the world, bringing the hope of the Gospel to every tribe, tongue, and nation. She rejoices today in the presence of the Lord, and her legacy reminds us to run with perseverance the race marked out for us, until the day we can rejoice with her.

A funeral service to honor Anet Jackson will be held Friday, January 16, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., at Hoffmantown Church, 8888 Harper Dr. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87111.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to Faith Comes By Hearing, 2421 Aztec Rd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87107, https://www.faithcomesbyhearing.com/campaign-fcbh/anet-legacy-fund.
