Charles Arthur Jackson IV, 21, of
Efland, North Carolina, passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2026.
CJ was born March 16, 2004 in
Durham, North Carolina and grew up in
Efland, North Carolina. He attended Cedar Ridge High School and was a member of the Cedar Ridge Chorus and Cedar Ridge Wrestling team.
CJ was actively serving as a Specialist in the United States Army as a Combat Medic for the White Devils, in the 82nd Airborne Division.

CJ was larger than life. He loved, supported, and comforted those he loved. He taught so many by his actions and inspired everyone with his bravery. He embraced being true to himself, and never wavered from the giant personality God gave him. There was no obstacle too great that kept him from reaching his goals & greatness. His faith was strong and he served his country with pride.
He is survived by his fiancée, Issey Cranmer; his parents, Melissa Jackson and Chuck Jackson; siblings, Grayson Mooring (Allison), Logan Mooring (Amanda), Carson Mooring, and Addilyn Jackson; and his niece Kodi Grace.
He is also survived by his loving grandparents: Craig and Diane Gural, Robert and Suzanne Kozora; aunts and uncles: Cristy Draper (Kristen), Renee Johnson (Mike), Benjamin Kozora (Sabrina), Casey Gural (Reagan), Jackie Hudson (John), and cousins: Sawyer Randall, Knox Draper, Cameron Hudson, Riley Hudson, Deklan Kozora, Fallon Kozora, Dylan Johnson, Leighton Johnson, Tustin Johnson, and Chandler Gural.
The family will receive friends Sunday, February 22, 2026 from 11:00am-1:00pm at Rich and Thompson Funeral Home, 207 E Elm Street
Graham, North Carolina 27253. The Service will immediately follow the visitation at 2:00 pm at Alamance Lutheran Church 4008 NC-62
Burlington, NC 27215. Family will also be receiving comfort and condolences at their home following the service.
