About
Milton Clapp Obituary
A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of the late Jean Long Clapp and the son of the late Clarence H. Clapp and the late Grace Clark Clapp. He served in the United States Army, retired as a driver for Overnight Trucking and was a charter member of Harvest Baptist Church. Milton was a lifelong enthusiast of a good pipe and the conversations that went with it. Milton was known to obtain and trade hundreds of pipes over his life.
He is survived by several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law along with numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Eunice Wright and brother, Ronald C. Clapp.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm on Thursday, February 19, 2026 at the Rich and Thompson Funeral Home in Graham. The service will be immediately following the visitation at 2:00 pm in the Rich and Thompson Chapel in Graham. The committal service will immediately follow the funeral service at Graham Memorial Park.
