Annette F. Laplume, 74, of Jacksonville, FL, died peacefully in her sleep on February 26, 2023. She was pre-deceased by her beloved significant other, Robert Blaes. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Eugene and Florence (Blondin) Arsenault.
She was employed by Narragansett Knitting, Grove Street School, Soujournor House and WWON. She served as a PTO officer for 15 years. She derived great satisfaction working with children and those in need. She was always willing to lend a helping hand. She was an avid gardener, loved to read and crochet.
She leaves her children, Christine St George and her husband Michael of Woonsocket, Douglas Laplume and his wife Susana of Georgia and Jennifer Masse and her husband, Todd of Woonsocket. She leaves 5 sisters, Denise Houle, Michelle Ayo, Camille Arsenault, Rachel Chartier and Renea Peloquin. She also leaves her uncle and godfather, Edward Arsenault. She has seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2023 from 5-7PM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket.
