Annette K. (LeBlanc) Mitchell, 87 of Oxford, passed away at home on Monday, May 13, 2024.
Annette was born in Somervile, MA., a daughter of the late Russell J. and Marion J. (Campbell) LeBlanc. She grew up in Worcester where she graduated from Commerce High School. Annette married Eli G. Mitchell in 1956 and started their family shortly after. She was devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister who loved her family more than anything. Annette worked as a supervisor for the Department of Revenue before her retirement.
Annette’s husband of 58 years, Eli G. Mitchell passed away in 2014. She is survived by their four children, Russell G. Mitchell and his wife Michelle of Oxford with whom she lived, Diana L. Frankian and her husband David of Worcester, Kelley J. Derosier and her husband Walter, III of Shrewsbury and Robert E. Mitchell and his wife Lisa of Charlton; two sisters, Geraldine Hoose of Worcester and Christine Bahde of Shrewsbury; fourteen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she is predeceased by two sisters, Janice Sokol and Jeanne Bates.
Services for Annette will be held privately. MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester is honored to be assisting the family with arrangements. Memorial contributions can be made to: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN. 38105
