Annie Lea Dore’ Armentor was born near Erath, Louisiana on May 20, 1935, to the late Maurice and Marie Lilly LeBlanc Dore’, and worked in the office of New Iberia Police Department for over 23 years.
Annie cherished her role as a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She dedicated her life to her family and was known for her kindness, generosity, and love. She maintained lifelong friendships and never knew a stranger.
Blessed with a green thumb, Annie loved her flowers and plants, and took pride in sharing many of them with anyone who asked. It delighted her to watch the hummingbirds feed on labors of her love. Annie was a great cook, and also enjoyed crocheting and sewing.
She was a longtime faithful member of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Coteau, where she freely gave her time to the Ladies Altar Society.
Mrs. Armentor is survived by her husband of nearly 70 years, Lloyd Paul Armentor; her children, Ricky Joseph Armentor (Jill), Lisa Armentor Hill (Billy), and Penny Armentor Hartwick (Kyle); brother, O.J. Dore’ (Patsy); grandchildren Jennifer Hill Lasseigne (Barron), Kami Armentor (Ryan), Jordy Hill (Jessica), Hannah Hartwick, Jed Patout (Reagan), and Drew Patout (Ashley); great-grandchildren, Drake, Peyton, Piper, Jenna, Reece, Sawyer, Jackson, Jude, Ava, Audrey, and Amelie; and numerous nieces, nephews, godchildren, and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, M.C. Dore’ and Mary Dore’ Sehon.
Pallbearers will be Drake Lasseigne, Jordy Hill, Peyton Lasseigne, Scott Dore’, Robert Joseph Sehon, and Andre’ Dore’.
Annie will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she loved. May she rest in peace.
