Annie Guillot Gros entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at the age of 103. Beloved wife of the late Eddie Thomas Gros, Sr. Daughter of the late O’Neil Guillot and Effie Allemand Guillot. Loving mother of Elsie Gros, Alvin Gros, Sr. (Sue), James Gros (Jan) and the late Eddie “Tommy” Gros, Jr., Betty LeBlanc, Linda Gros and Floyd Gros, Sr. Beloved sister of the late Claude Guillot, Albert Guillot, Joe Guillot, Sidney Guillot, Necess Guillot, Abbey Guillot, Larry Guillot, Tootie Gros and O’Neil Guillot, Jr. Annie is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews. She was born in Pierre Part, Louisiana and was a resident of Westwego, Louisiana for 85 years. She was a Charter Member of the Westwego Civic Association. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to her daughter, Elsie Gros and her personal friend, Sadie Mayeaux for the care given to Ms. Annie in her latter years. A special thank you to the Caregivers and Staff of Wynhoven for the outstanding care, love and understanding of our family Matriarch over the years. Family and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, Louisiana on Monday, September 16, 2024 from 9AM until 11AM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 11AM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, Louisiana.
