Mrs. Annie Foley Harris, age 93 of Patrick Springs, passed away Monday, December 8, 2025, at Stanleytown Health and Rehabilitation. She was born in Patrick County on September 9, 1932, to the late Grover C. Foley and Mary Ella Washington Foley. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Parker Harris; a daughter, Rhonda H. Phillips; a grandson, Barry W. Harris; six siblings, John Foley, Clive Foley, Margaret F. Shumate, Donna F. Rea, Ralph G. Foley, and Robert A. Foley.
Annie was a charter member of Lighthouse Baptist Church and a member at Northside Baptist Church. She worked at Fieldcrest Mills and was a homemaker. Mama loved working in the garden and could can anything – nothing was wasted. She loved flowers and took pride in their beauty. She loved her family dearly and Jesus. She read her bible daily as all her Bibles were worn and every page marked. Thanks Mom, for your unconditional love, taking us to church every time the doors opened, and for all the prayers you said for us every night. Mama, thanks for keeping the porch light on for us to come home. Our hearts are broken, but we have peace knowing you are in the presence of God. We know you are praising your Lord and Savior and walking the streets of gold holding Daddy’s hand. Keep the porch light on and we will see you soon.
Mrs. Harris is survived by a daughter, Janet H. Tunnell (Chuck); a son, Gary P. Harris (Pam); a granddaughter, Whitney Plaster (Travis); two great-grandchildren, Blake and Audrey; a brother, James Foley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Harris will be held Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastor Wayne Fulcher and Pastor Brandon DuPont officiating.
